This Privacy Policy describes the types of Data (“PullRequest Badge”, “we”, and “us”) collect through PullRequest Badge, and other related products, applications, communications, and services (“Services”) and via our online presence, which includes services and websites that we enable Internet users to access (collectively, our “Sites”). This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, products, or services, even if they link to us, and you should consider the privacy practices of those third-parties carefully.
Overview
PullRequest Badge obtains Personal Data about you from various sources to provide our Services. “You” a user of one or more of our Services (“User”). We only collect the information you choose to give us, and we process it with your consent, or on another legal basis; we only require the minimum amount of Personal Data that is necessary to fulfill the purpose of your interaction with us; we don't sell it to third parties; and we only use it as this Privacy Policy describes.
Data we collect?
When you install our GitHub App
In order to use PullRequest Badge, you will be asked to install the PullRequest Badge GitHub App to a GitHub organization. When you set up the GitHub App, you grant us API read access to metadata and single file which holds the configuration of the Service. Also you grant us API read and write access to your GitHub pull requests which is needed to add and update badges based on the configuration you provided. We do not request or obtain access to your source code.
What information do we collect?
- We collect the name of the GitHub organization that our Service is installed into.
- Whenever our Service is processing data wcollect the name of the GitHub organization that is requesting our Service.
- We collect usage information to create metrics to determine potential performance issues, best moment for maintenances.
- We do not store GitHub credentials or your source code, you can revoke our access at any time.
Unintentionally collected data
We do not intentionally collect Personal Data that may be contained in your GitHub pull requests. Personal Data in your GitHub repositories belongs to you, and you are responsible for it, including complying with any regulatory controls regarding that data.
How We Disclose Personal Data
PullRequest Badge does not sell or rent Personal Data to marketers or unaffiliated third parties. We share your Personal Data in specific cases as outlined below.
Service providers
We share User Personal Information with a limited number of third party service providers that provide services on our behalf, such as server hosting and analytics.
Image generation
We use badgen to generating the images (badges). You can read badge's privacy policy.
Statistics
We use Mixpanel to aggregated and analyse how users interact with our Service. You can read Mixpanels's privacy terms. We do not sell this information to advertisers or marketers. All statistics data will be automatically deleted after 90 days.
We use Plausible Analytics to help operate our Services more efficiently, to gather broad demographic information and to monitor the level of activity on our Services. Hosting
We use ZEIT for hosting our Service. You can read ZEIT's privacy terms.
E-Mail marketing

Security and Retention
We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, destruction or misuse.
Our security measures include:
- Transmitting Data using HTTPS and SSL/TLS, including transmissions between PullRequest Badge and GitHub.
Unfortunately, no method of transmission, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your Data, we will act promptly to mitigate the impact of a breach and notify any affected users without undue delay.
Newsletter Tracking
The newsletter of “PullRequest Badge contains a tracking pixels. A tracking pixel is an image embedded in E-Mails, which are sent in HTML format to enable analysis and log file recording. This allows a statistical analysis of the success or failure of online marketing campaigns. Based on the embedded tracking pixel, we may see if and when an E-Mail was opened and which links in the E-Mail were clicked.
Personal data collected in the tracking pixels contained in the newsletters Tracking are stored and analyzed by the controller Convertkit in order to optimize the content as well as the shipping of the newsletter. These personal data will not be passed on to third parties. Data subjects are at any time entitled to revoke the respective separate declaration of consent issued by means of the double-opt-in procedure. After a revocation, these personal data will be deleted by the controller. PullRequest Badge automatically regards a withdrawal from the receipt of the newsletter as a revocation.
Use by Minors
If you're a child under the age of 16, you may not use PullRequest Badge. PullRequest Badge does not knowingly collect information from or direct any of our content specifically to children under 16. If we learn or have reason to suspect that you are a user who is under the age of 16, we will close your account.
Links to Other Websites
PullRequest Badge may provide the ability to connect to other websites. These websites may operate independently from us and may have their own privacy notices or policies, which we strongly suggest you review. If any linked website is not owned or controlled by us, we are not responsible for its content, any use of the website or the privacy practices of the operator of the website.

Updates to this Privacy Policy
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect new services, changes in our Personal Data practices or relevant laws. The “Last updated” legend at the top of this Privacy Policy indicates when this Privacy Policy was last revised. Any changes are effective when we post the revised Privacy Policy on the Services. We may provide you with disclosures and alerts regarding the Privacy Policy or Personal Data collected by posting them on our website.
